I appreciate your comments on "Duncan MaCleod" and "The Goblin King." Those two are my first..actual portraits and it took some time. The comments were very sweet and thank you again.

why thank you for the comment, especially since you're not one of my usual commenters *yay someone new!*. As far as mechanical pencils, I'm using a .5 whereas i should be using a .05 or .01. But if you want to see something realy cool, check out the SISC drawing by Jason in my gallery, that was done with a mechanical pencil as well.
I used to use a big stack of different pencils, but i just mechanical ones now since its a lost faster and lets me get crazy with the hatching as well as improve my ink style.
